I had extremely painful osteoarthritis in my shoulder when I first met Mr Kang in 2020. I felt totally comfortable with him at once. He reassured me that he could improve my pain and lack of shoulder movement . Mr Kang gave me a total shoulder replacement in July 2021. this has been exceedingly successful .Mobility is vastly improved to almost 100% and I am no longer taking any pain relief. Life has happily returned to normal. I am immensely greatful for his totally brilliant skills, kindness and committment .

Mr Kang came high recommended by my physio after a fall, I had broken my arm in a couple of places and dislocated my elbow. I had already had an emergency operation by a different surgeon via the NHS the Royal London Whitechaple. This operation had not been successful and I was in a lot of pain and had regular swelling and pain every night. I travelled a 3 hour round trip to see Mr Kang because I could not cope anymore with the pain and knew I had to find the person to resolve the issue. Our first meeting Mr Kang put me at ease explaining that he could ease the pain and get the elbow working better. I needed a right elbow radial head replacement plus removal of the plate that had been fitted in the first operation. Mr Kang explained everything clearly. I had a couple of panic situations while waiting for the operation, but I spoke to Mr Kang secretary who put me at ease, she is such a lovely caring lady which makes so much difference when you have anxiety. The operation went well, Mr Kang visited the next morning to check everything was ok. Also Mr Kang anaesthesia was also very nice explaining everything to put me at ease, he also visited the following day. I can't explain how much this operation helped improve my life and wellbeing. My scar is so neat, you can hardly see it. I would high recommend Mr Kang and will always be very grateful to him.

When I saw Niel Kang I had really severe osteo arthritis pain in both my shoulders - he said he could make them pain free & he did! I had the first total shoulder replacement procedure in Dec 2020 & the second in Sept 2021. Both surgeries went really well & recovery has been good. Both new shoulders are now pain free. Niel Kang is really approachable & explains exactly what the procedure is & what to expect from the surgery. I felt very confident that my surgery would be a success. I broke my arm above the elbow on 16th September. On the 23rd Mr Kang operated. I have two plates and many screws in the arm. 2 weeks later on October 8th I had X-rays and the bandage removed. The long scar had healed very well. Obviously I have to give it time for the bones to knit. However I only met him a few times and from the first consultation I felt confident in him and fully trusted him. He is very approachable and a very charming person. Anyone who is lucky enough to be looked after by him should be very grateful. I can’t thank him enough for his efficiency and skill. Also thank you to all the staff at Addenbrookes they couldn’t have been kinder and more efficient.
